  • *Job Summary**

We're seeking an experienced data analyst to join our team as a Manager, Analytics. In this role, you'll be responsible for supporting our paid media analysis capability to surface data-driven key opportunities for the Chief Authority group, focusing on the optimization of our paid media spend globally. You'll work closely with marketing teams to identify ways of working on the efficiencies of our paid media spend and develop revealing and analyses to inform and drive decisions – and develop KPIs and scorecards to track progress/execution to drive an emphasis on results and execution.

  • *Key Responsibilities**

As a Manager, Analytics, you'll be responsible for:

  • Developing and delivering data-driven insights and recommendations to inform business decisions
  • Planning and executing the development of investigation, BI, and data science projects fully focused on improving visible paid media and enhancing marketing efficiencies
  • Collaborating with paid media data science teams and marketing teams on implementing media blend models
  • Leading ad-hoc analysis through database querying, followed by quick translation of results and the definition and communication of recommendations that drive action
  • Working closely with marketing, finance, and product teams to handle business challenges and track marketing and product performance with a data-driven approach
  • Influencing Organized Query Language (SQL), MicroStrategy, Tableau, Power BI, and other reporting tools to create and maintain planned and Adhoc reports
  • Analyzing data to identify business issues and leading deep dives to perform root cause analysis
  • Collaborating with partners to leverage data (internal data from arenaflex and Amazon, as well as external data from market research and marketing organizations) and address complex business challenges by delivering significant insights
  • Conceptualizing and running analysis that creates insights on customer behavior and customer needs to help further develop and enhance our value proposition
  • *Essential Capabilities**
  • Experience in the field of Business Intelligence, Analysis, or Consulting in an e-commerce climate or related field
  • High-level SQL experience
  • High-level involvement in at least one industry analysis and measurement perception tool (e.g. Tableau/QuickSight/Power BI)
  • Master in Power BI with a demonstrated history
  • Degree in data science, business, finance, data innovation, statistics, mathematics, or other related field

  • Strong inclination for action, highly organized, and ability to complete responsibilities and tasks with little direction and tight deadlines
  • Excellent communication (verbal and written), interpersonal skills, and ability to communicate with both business leadership and technical teams effectively
  • Experience with enrollment, membership-based, or media content organizations
  • Experience with and/or interest in learning more about state-of-the-art data science approaches
  • Programming languages: knowledge of Python
  • Knowledge of other programming languages, such as Java or C#, or of statistical programming languages like R or SAS
  • Knowledge of Adobe Analysis
