• *Job Responsibilities**

As an Experienced Data Scientist – RWE, you will be responsible for producing high-quality, actionable insights from real-world data to inform business decisions and drive growth. Your key responsibilities will include:

• **Data Analysis and Interpretation**: Develop and implement advanced data analysis techniques to extract insights from large datasets, including patient cohorts, treatment patterns, and healthcare outcomes.
• **Collaboration and Partnerships**: Partner with cross-functional teams, including clinical trials, scientific affairs, and biopharmaceutical companies, to provide actionable insights and support business decisions.
• **Data Management and Governance**: Design, develop, and maintain data management systems, including data lakes, to ensure high-quality, standardized, and easily interpretable data.
• **Statistical Analysis and Modeling**: Conduct statistical analysis and modeling to investigate real-world evidence and identify new insights about patient populations and treatment outcomes.
• **Results Reporting and Communication**: Develop and present results reports, including dashboards, analytics, and visualizations, to internal and external stakeholders.
• **Due Diligence and Quality Assurance**: Conduct due diligence on new real-world data companies and evaluate the quality of real-world data to inform investment decisions.

• *Essential Qualifications**

• **Bachelor's Degree or Higher**: A bachelor's degree or higher in a quantitative or computational field, such as computer science, mathematics, statistics, or engineering.
• **Programming Skills**: Proficiency in programming languages, including R, Python, or SQL, with a minimum of 4 years of experience.
• **Data Analysis and Statistical Skills**: Experience in designing and executing strong and reproducible statistical analyses, including generalized linear models, classification and regression trees, unsupervised learning, time series analysis, and survival analysis.
• **Data Management and Governance**: Experience in managing and governing large datasets, including data lakes, and ensuring high-quality, standardized, and easily interpretable data.
• **Business Acumen**: Strong business acumen and ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

• *Preferred Qualifications**

• **Advanced Degree**: A Ph.D. or Master's degree in a field such as statistics, biostatistics, computer science, mathematics, or engineering.
• **Experience in Healthcare**: Experience working with healthcare data, including electronic medical records, health information technology, disease registries, and claims databases.
• **Regulatory Compliance**: Experience with Good Clinical Practice (GCP) and/or regulatory compliance guidelines for real-world evidence research or clinical trials.
• **Experimental Design and Bayesian Modeling**: Experience with experimental design, Bayesian modeling, sequential data, and computational statistics.
• **Data Science Tools and Technologies**: Familiarity with data science tools and technologies, including Tableau, Power BI, Alteryx, Spotfire, or other business intelligence platforms.
