Position Overview
We're seeking an experienced Employer Branding & Talent Experience Specialist to join our dynamic team in a fully remote capacity. This is a unique opportunity to be at the forefront of defining and deploying arenaflex's employer brand strategy, creating meaningful connections with current and prospective employees while building a lasting legacy of workplace excellence.
This pivotal role will serve as both a driving force for existing initiatives and a thought leader in developing innovative strategies related to our employer brand and employee experience. You'll work collaboratively with stakeholders across the organization to ensure that arenaflex remains an employer of choice for top talent in our industry.
Key Responsibilities
As an Employer Branding & Talent Experience Specialist at arenaflex, you will be responsible for:
- Employer Brand Strategy Development: Design and implement a comprehensive employer branding strategy utilizing powerful channels and content specifically tailored to attract, engage, and retain top talent across all generations within our workforce.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner closely with internal communications teams to ensure connectivity and consistency in our employer messaging, creating cohesive narratives that resonate throughout the employee lifecycle.
- Culture Transformation Leadership: Work alongside senior leadership, including the Vice President of Strategy and Transformation, to drive organizational culture through data-informed human applications and strategies that enable an exceptional employee experience built upon inclusion and recognition.
- Brand Consistency Assurance: Ensure consistent implementation of our employer brand across all organizational events, including hackathons, brown bag sessions, lunch-and-learn programs, talent conferences, and other engagement initiatives.
- Engagement Team Leadership: Build and manage an engaged team composed of voluntary team members across the organization, overseeing processes and activities that uniquely engage employees at all levels and build community across teams and functions.
- Assessment and Recommendation: Evaluate and recommend tools and activities that will uniquely engage our workforce, driving community building and fostering connections across departments and capabilities.
- HR Partnership: Collaborate with Human Resources to drive employee survey initiatives, movement planning, and implementation of programs aligned with organizational values and business objectives.
- Data-Driven Decision Making: Partner with HR to leverage people-centric data from across the organization to inform engagement strategy, promoting a culture of empowerment, innovation, belonging, and pride.
- Employee Survey Analytics: Utilize employee survey data and feedback analytics to evaluate the effectiveness of employer branding initiatives and continuously evolve our talent strategy.
Essential Qualifications
To succeed in this role, candidates must meet the following requirements:
- Educational Background: Bachelor's degree plus at least 4 years of experience in progressive communications, employer branding, and/or talent engagement; OR High School diploma/GED plus at least 3 years of progressive experience in communications, branding, or employee engagement.
- Professional Experience: Minimum of 4 years managing progressive communications, employer branding, or talent engagement initiatives.
- Leadership Experience: At least 4 years of experience leading and managing the work of a team, including leading through influence or Centers of Excellence (COE) models.
- Strategic Project Management: Experience in developing and implementing strategic projects and programs aligned to business objectives.
- Team Inspiration: Proven ability to provide shape and direction to inspire teams toward engaging in organizational goals.
- Program Management: Experience with program management, business planning, and scheduling of large-scale programs, activities, and initiatives at the organizational level to meet both short and long-range objectives.
- Relationship Building: Experience building effective work relationships, establishing credibility, and increasing trust to influence at all levels of the organization.
- Change Management: Experience with effective change management and the ability to influence behavior throughout periods of transition and growth.
- Communication Skills: Excellent oral and written communication skills with the ability to convey business requirements and technical needs in a clear, concise, and effective manner.
- Decision-Making: Experience exercising expert judgment and taking responsibility for decisions that affect people, quality of service, and expenses.
- Financial Acumen: At least 2 years of experience contributing to financial decisions within the workplace.
- Leadership Diversity: At least 3 years of direct leadership, indirect leadership, and/or cross-functional team leadership experience.
- Travel Flexibility: Willingness to travel up to at least 10% of the time for business functions (both domestic and international).
Preferred Qualifications
While not required, the following qualifications will strengthen your application:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Human Resources, Communications, Marketing, or related field
- 1-4 years of additional progressive communications, employer branding, or talent engagement experience beyond the required minimum
- Minimum of 5 years leading and managing the work of a team, including leading through influence or Centers of Excellence (COE) models
- Experience in pharmacy, retail, or healthcare industry employer branding
- Strong familiarity with employer branding platforms and recruitment marketing tools
- Experience with employee experience platforms and workforce analytics
