- *Job Responsibilities**
As a Senior Data Scientist at arenaflex, you will be responsible for:
- Building and deploying advanced machine learning models using technical expertise in data science, statistical modeling, and data engineering.
- Developing and maintaining large-scale data pipelines to extract insights from complex datasets.
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams, including finance, research, software development, and business leaders, to define product requirements and provide analytical support.
- Communicating complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders, including business leaders and customers.
- Designing and implementing A/B experiments to inform business decisions.
- Working with cloud-based technologies, including Azure, Databricks, Snowflake, and GitHub.
- Utilizing programming languages, such as Python, PySpark, Matplotlib, TensorFlow, and PyTorch.
- Building and deploying predictive models using supervised and unsupervised learning techniques, including choice trees, regression, XGBoost, K means, and anomaly detection.
- Interpreting and visualizing results to inform business decisions.
- *Essential Qualifications**
- Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field, such as computer science, statistics, mathematics, or engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in data science, machine learning, or a related field, or a minimum of 7 years of experience in a related field with a high school diploma or equivalent.
- Advanced degree in a quantitative field, such as a Master's or Ph.D. in computer science, statistics, mathematics, or engineering.
- At least 4 years of experience working with large-scale, complex datasets to create and optimize machine learning models.
- Advanced experience in SQL, Python, PySpark, or other programming languages.
- Experience with exploratory data analysis, feature engineering, and selection, pattern detection, distribution analysis, and visualization.
- Experience with supervised and unsupervised learning techniques, including choice trees, regression, XGBoost, K means, and anomaly detection.
- Experience with cloud-based technologies, including Azure, Databricks, Snowflake, and GitHub.
- Experience designing and implementing A/B experiments.
- Advanced degree talent in conveying rigorous technical standards and issues to non-experts.
- Experience working in a dynamic environment and working with ambiguity, prioritizing needs, and delivering results.
- Experience efficiently communicating technical answers and advocating to research scientists, engineering teams, and business audiences.
- *Preferred Qualifications**
- Ph.D. in a quantitative field, such as computer science, statistics, mathematics, or engineering.
- Experience working with IoT and Edge AI.
- Experience in Reinforcement Learning.
