Position Overview

What You Will Accomplish

As a Business Intelligence Advisor at arenaflex, your primary responsibility will be to analyze data, draw conclusions, and provide summary analysis and interpretation to business management. You will play a critical role in helping the organization understand its data and use it to make informed decisions. Your daily activities will include:

• Data Analysis and Interpretation: Analyze complex datasets to identify patterns, trends, and correlations. Draw meaningful conclusions and provide summary analysis and interpretation to support business management in decision-making processes.


• Stakeholder Collaboration: Consult with business stakeholders to identify new reporting requirements and understand evolving business needs. Work closely with end users to determine information requirements and ensure delivered solutions meet their needs.


• Report Optimization: Optimize and standardize reports at regular intervals. Define and influence metrics definitions from a global perspective, ensuring consistency and accuracy across all reporting deliverables.


• Reporting Design and Implementation: Design, run, and implement reports to support business operations. Collaborate with various teams to gather feedback and contribute to process improvement initiatives.


• Industry Awareness: Stay current with industry trends and best practices in business intelligence and data analytics. Discuss emerging trends with internal business teams to identify opportunities for innovation and improvement.


• Knowledge Sharing: Support best practices and knowledge sharing within the organization. Mentor team members and contribute to a culture of continuous learning and improvement.

Essential Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you must possess a unique combination of technical expertise, business acumen, and interpersonal skills. We are looking for candidates who can effectively bridge the gap between technical data analysis and business strategy. The following qualifications are required:

• Educational Background: Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as Business Analytics, Computer Science, Statistics, or a related discipline.


• Team Collaboration: Ability to collaborate effectively in a team environment. Proven expertise in reporting and exceptional technical proficiency.


• Presentation Skills: Strong presentation skills with the ability to communicate complex technical information to non-technical stakeholders in a clear and compelling manner.


• Business Understanding: Good understanding of specific data intelligence domains and experience with business processes. Ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions.


• Technical Proficiency: Working knowledge of Python, SQL, Power BI, and Visual Basic and Macro Programming. Familiarity with Power Applications and Automation Anywhere - A360 is a plus.


• Industry Awareness: Good understanding of the business environment and industry trends. Ability to apply this knowledge to deliver relevant insights and recommendations.


• Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Strong problem-solving abilities and a client-focused approach to work.


• Location: Must be able to work in Texas, USA, with the ability to work 8 hours per day in a part-time capacity.

Preferred Qualifications

• Strong Macro programming skills in VBA or similar languages


• Programming experience in C, C++, Java, or .NET


• Knowledge of Power Applications for building custom solutions


• Experience with Automation Anywhere 360 for robotic process automation


• Advanced certifications in business intelligence or data analytics


• Experience working with large datasets and data warehousing concepts


• Familiarity with cloud-based analytics platforms
