Position Overview
arenaflex is currently seeking an experienced and strategic Finance Technology Enablement Manager to join our Finance team. This pivotal role is responsible for driving the research and design of strategic financial solutions. You will help identify, analyze, and co-create technology solutions that support Finance partners across the organization. The ideal candidate will develop and execute project plans, collaborate with cross-functional teams to leverage emerging technologies, and lead initiatives that drive innovation in financial processes and systems.
This position requires a unique blend of financial expertise, technology acumen, and leadership capabilities. You will be responsible for the work of others, resource allocation, and decision-making that influences the success of assigned projects—including outcomes, deadlines, and budget management. Key Responsibilities
As a Finance Technology Enablement Manager at arenaflex, you will play a critical role in bridging the gap between finance operations and technology innovation. Your responsibilities will include:
- Strategic Partnership Development: Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders across the organization to understand their operational and business needs. Serve as a trusted advisor to finance leadership and partner teams.
- Process Improvement Leadership: Work closely with internal stakeholders to identify process improvement opportunities and recommend technology-driven solutions that enhance efficiency, accuracy, and strategic value.
- Financial Process Expertise: Champion financial processes, planning methodologies, systems, reports, and analyses. Develop deep expertise in our financial technology ecosystem and serve as the subject matter expert.
- Cross-Functional Liaison: Act as the primary contact between Finance Planning & Analysis (FP&A) and application development teams to enable transformation and digital initiatives.
- Analytical Support: Perform and support ad-hoc analysis, modeling, and projects as needed to address emerging business questions and support strategic decision-making.
- Continuous Improvement: Endeavor to continuously improve existing processes and embrace innovation. Challenge the status quo and propose new approaches that add value to the organization.
- Project Management: Lead project planning, execution, and delivery ensuring alignment with business objectives, timelines, and budget constraints.
- Team Leadership: Oversee the work of team members and cross-functional resources, providing guidance, feedback, and mentorship to drive successful project outcomes.
- Technology Evaluation: Evaluate emerging technologies and tools that can enhance financial planning, analysis, and reporting capabilities.
- Requirements Definition: Develop and defend business requirements, working closely with technology teams to ensure solution alignment with business needs.
Essential Qualifications
To succeed in this role at arenaflex, candidates must meet the following requirements:
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field is required. An advanced degree (MBA, Master's in Finance, or related) is strongly preferred.
- Experience: Minimum of 5+ years of experience in accounting, finance, and finance technology roles. Demonstrated progression in responsibilities and scope is essential.
- Financial Acumen: Strong working knowledge of financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements. Ability to analyze and interpret financial data to drive business insights.
- Technology Proficiency: Solid understanding of financial tools, data technologies, and data strategy. Familiarity with financial planning systems, reporting tools, and data visualization platforms.
