We are an in-office company, and our expectation is that employees primarily work from their arenaflex office 5 days a week. However, we also recognize the importance of flexibility and trust our employees to manage their schedules responsibly. This may include occasional remote work, starting the day with morning meetings from home before heading to the office, or leaving earlier when needed to accommodate family commitments.

About the Role


We're looking for a talented and passionate full-stack Software Engineer to join our Application Engineering team and elevate the user experience across our public-facing website, blog, and other customer-facing portals. This is a high-impact and highly visible role, focused on elevating the end-to-end user experience across our digital products. You'll play a key part in shaping how users interact with and perceive our platform, ensuring our communication, design, and functionality align to deliver a seamless, intuitive, and engaging experience.

In this role, you'll work closely with cross-functional partners in Engineering and Design to build fast, responsive, and elegant web experiences. A key responsibility will be revamping our customer portal and technical manual, ensuring it's intuitive, scalable, and supports both self-service and high-touch user journeys. You'll be instrumental in transforming how our customers engage with our products and services, creating experiences that set the standard for excellence in the autonomy industry.

What You'll Do at arenaflex


As a Full Stack Software Engineer on our Application Engineering team, you will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining the digital experiences that represent arenaflex to the world. Your work will directly impact how customers, partners, and potential employees perceive and interact with our company. Here's what you can expect to do:


  • Use HTML, CSS, and JavaScript to build intuitive, user-friendly customer portals and deliver new features that enhance functionality and engagement across all our digital properties

  • Take Figma design files and convert them into responsive, pixel-perfect websites that work seamlessly across browsers, devices, and screen sizes

  • Test, maintain, and continuously improve our websites; troubleshoot technical issues related to delivering exceptional user experiences

  • Implement custom code in other digital properties and enable sophisticated user engagement workflows, such as improving product documentation search functionality and creating intuitive navigation systems

  • Work across the full stack, including frontend development, backend architecture, data management, and cloud and edge infrastructure

  • Possess and apply a fundamental grasp of web user experience goals for site visitors, ensuring every interaction meets their needs and exceeds their expectations

  • Enable robust analytics and measurement frameworks across site experiences to drive data-informed decisions

  • Implement SEO best practices to ensure our digital presence is discoverable and ranks well in search results

  • Develop and maintain our internal content distribution platform, enabling teams to efficiently deliver content to customers

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product managers, designers, content creators, and other engineers to deliver cohesive digital experiences

  • Participate in code reviews, contribute to technical documentation, and mentor junior team members

  • Stay current with emerging web technologies, frameworks, and best practices to keep our digital properties at the forefront of innovation

We're Looking For Someone Who Has


We seeking a candidate who brings a strong technical foundation and a passion for creating exceptional web experiences. The ideal candidate will have:


  • Bachelor's degree in a technical field (Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Physics, Mathematics, or equivalent practical experience)

  • 2+ years of professional web development experience building and maintaining complex web applications

  • Full stack coding proficiency spanning shell scripting, JavaScript, Python, and C/C++

  • Strong JavaScript, HTML, and CSS skills with demonstrated experience building responsive sites across a variety of browsers and devices

  • Mastery of web standards, cross-browser compatibility, accessibility (WCAG guidelines), and SEO best practices

  • Strong QA mindset with exceptional attention to detail and an appreciation for design and user experience

  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues

  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment

  • Experience with version control systems, particularly Git

  • Understanding of web performance optimization techniques

Nice to Have


While not required, the following experience or skills would be valuable in this role:


  • Experience working on a variety of areas ranging from systems programming, backend infrastructure, to full stack applications

  • Familiarity with Git or other version control software and collaborative development workflows

  • Familiarity with React, Angular, Vue.js, or other industry-leading JavaScript frameworks

  • Experience with headless CMS platforms and API-driven content management

  • Knowledge of content delivery networks (CDNs) and edge computing

  • Background in creating accessible web experiences following WCAG 2.1 guidelines

  • Experience with analytics platforms such as Google Analytics, Mixpanel, or Amplitude

  • Understanding of modern CI/CD pipelines and deployment workflows

  • Experience in the automotive, autonomy, or robotics industries
