Position Overview
We are currently accepting applications for future Purchaser Clerical Specialist positions. Key Responsibilities
As a Purchaser Clerical Specialist at Arenaflex, you will be responsible for a variety of essential functions that keep our purchasing operations running smoothly. Your daily responsibilities will include:
- Purchase Order Management: Input and process purchase orders accurately and efficiently using our internal systems, ensuring all orders are completed within specified timelines.
- Vendor Communication: Maintain professional communication with both international and domestic vendors to coordinate product availability, pricing negotiations, and order clarifications.
- Cross-Departmental Collaboration: Work closely with various departments within the organization to ensure alignment in purchasing decisions and inventory management.
- Shipment Tracking: Monitor and track domestic and international shipments to ensure timely delivery and resolve any shipping discrepancies that may arise.
- Product Packaging Review: Review and verify product packaging to ensure it meets quality standards and complies with company specifications.
- Reporting: Generate comprehensive reports related to purchasing activities, inventory levels, and vendor performance.
- Planning Support: Provide administrative support to the planning team to optimize inventory turnover and product availability.
- Documentation Processing: Process and maintain various purchasing documents, ensuring accuracy and proper filing.
- Inventory Sample Management: Label and maintain inventory samples for product evaluation and quality control purposes.
- Buyer Call Management: Vet incoming calls for buyers, prioritizing and routing inquiries appropriately.
- General Administrative Duties: Execute other organizational tasks as needed to support the purchasing department's overall efficiency.
