Join arenaflex as a Data Center Technician
Are you ready to be part of something extraordinary? Welcome to arenaflex, where we build the backbone of the internet and power the technologies that connect billions of people worldwide. We're not just a company—we're a team of innovators, problem-solvers, and passionate technologists who thrive on pushing boundaries and redefining what's possible.
At arenaflex, our Technical Infrastructure team is the heartbeat of everything our customers experience online. From developing and maintaining our massive data centers to building the next generation of computing platforms, we make the impossible happen every single day. We take pride in being "engineers' engineers"—we love voiding warranties by taking things apart to understand how they work, then rebuilding them better than before.
Now, we're looking for a Data Center Technician to join our Hardware Operations team in Oklahoma. If you're fascinated by technology, enjoy troubleshooting complex problems, and want to kickstart your career in one of the most dynamic industries in the world, this is your opportunity to shine.

You'll be responsible for installing and maintaining arenaflex's advanced data center server and network infrastructure, participating in local project teams on large-scale installations, and developing comprehensive project contingency plans.
This position offers an exceptional introduction to the broader engineering world at arenaflex. Depending on your interests, skills, and geographical mobility, you'll have opportunities to grow within Hardware Operations or transition toward software development, engineering, networking operations, or project management teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Infrastructure Deployment & Maintenance: Contribute to and lead efforts and projects in the deployment, maintenance, and support of cutting-edge data center infrastructure. You'll be on the front lines of technology, ensuring our systems operate at peak performance around the clock.
- Complex Troubleshooting: Participate in or lead complicated troubleshooting sessions to solve critical or escalated technical problems. You'll diagnose issues with precision and develop innovative solutions that keep our operations running smoothly.
- Hardware Testing & Validation: Test and troubleshoot new server hardware components and designs. Your insights will help shape the future of our infrastructure and ensure we're always using the best technology available.
- Linux System Administration: Configure and troubleshoot Linux OS-related problems on servers. You'll leverage your knowledge of Linux tools to maintain system integrity and resolve issues efficiently.
- Server & Network Infrastructure: Deploy and maintain arenaflex's advanced data center server and network infrastructure. This is the backbone of our global operations, and you'll be essential to keeping it running flawlessly.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with diverse stakeholders to ensure that our goals, missions, and tasks are effectively delivered. You'll communicate technical concepts clearly and collaborate across teams to overcome challenges.
- Documentation & Process Improvement: Ensure that deployments and processes are repeatable across our global array of data centers. Your work will create standardized procedures that team members can follow worldwide.

- Hardware Diagnostics Skills: Knowledge of troubleshooting and diagnosing computer, server, and network hardware issues. You're the type of person who can't wait to take something apart to understand how it works.
- Problem-Solving Abilities: Strong analytical skills to identify root causes and develop effective solutions under pressure.
- Educational Background: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical field. We value education, but we also recognize that real-world experience and passion can be just as valuable.
- Physical Capability: Ability to work in a data center environment, including lifting equipment, working in confined spaces, and standing for extended periods.
- Availability: Willingness to work in Oklahoma, USA, with flexibility for shift work as needed by our 24/7 operations.

- Project Management: Experience in project management and leadership. You've organized tasks, coordinated with team members, and delivered results on time.
- Networking Expertise: Experience with networking protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, etc.). Understanding how data flows through networks will help you excel in this role.
- Team Collaboration: Demonstrated ability to collaborate and associate with groups to overcome problems. You know that the best solutions often come from diverse perspectives working together.
- Industry Certifications: Relevant certifications such as CompTIA A+, Network+, Server+, or equivalent are a plus but not required.
- Customer-Focus: Understanding of delivering excellent service to internal stakeholders and end users.
Skills & Competencies for Success
- Technical Aptitude: A natural curiosity about how things work and the desire to learn new technologies continuously.
