Position Overview

We are currently seeking a Data Entry Support Worker to join our Adult Education team on a full-time, remote basis. This position is available to qualified candidates residing within the United States. The primary focus of this role is to ensure accurate data entry, maintain organized records, and provide administrative support to our education programs. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong organizational skills, the ability to work independently, and a commitment to maintaining confidentiality and data security.

Key Responsibilities

As a Data Entry Specialist at arenaflex, you will be responsible for a variety of clerical and data management tasks essential to the smooth operation of our Adult Education programs. Your daily responsibilities will include:


  • Database Management: Manage multiple databases to ensure accurate record-keeping and efficient data organization. You will be tasked with entering, updating, and maintaining information across various systems while ensuring data integrity and consistency.

  • Grant Data Entry: Enter required grant data accurately into the NRS (National Reporting System) to meet monthly, quarterly, and year-end deadlines. This responsibility requires meticulous attention to detail and the ability to work efficiently under deadline pressure.

  • Record Maintenance: Maintain appropriate records and follow required procedures and practices for attendance and assessment data. You will ensure that all student records are complete, accurate, and properly filed in accordance with program guidelines.

  • Data Security Compliance: Maintain required security of student data in full compliance with FERPA (Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act). Protecting sensitive information is paramount in this role, and you will be expected to adhere to all confidentiality protocols and security measures.

  • Quality Assurance: Complete regular error checks and data clean-up in NRS to ensure accurate reporting. You will identify and correct discrepancies, validate data entries, and maintain high standards of data quality.

  • Information Accessibility: Ensure data is accessible in a timely manner to staff and other stakeholders. This includes generating reports, responding to data requests, and coordinating with team members to provide necessary information.

  • Task Organization: Organize and prioritize tasks effectively to meet all local, state, and program deadlines. Strong time management skills are essential to balance multiple responsibilities and deliver results on schedule.

  • Student Outcome Monitoring: Monitor and evaluate student outcomes including pre/post testing with state-mandated assessments. You will track student progress and maintain records of assessment results to support program evaluation and improvement.
