Position Overview

As an Expeditor Specialist at arenaflex, you will play a critical role in our supply chain operations, ensuring the timely arrival of aircraft parts and materials to support our operational goals. This position requires a unique blend of organizational skills, communication abilities, and a proactive approach to problem-solving. You'll be the vital link between our vendors, internal departments, and operational teams, ensuring that every component arrives exactly when and where it's needed.

Key Responsibilities

As an integral part of our operations team, you will be responsible for a wide range of duties that keep our supply chain running efficiently. Here's what you can expect:

• Vendor Coordination: Establish and maintain clear communication with external vendors to expedite the arrival of aircraft parts precisely on time, ensuring our operations meet their material goals consistently.


• AOG Support: Work with Aircraft on Ground (AOG) orders as required, responding quickly to urgent situations that require immediate attention and resolution.


• Supplier Management: Provide overdue order updates to suppliers and follow up on pending deliveries to prevent delays in our operations.


• Inventory and Maintenance Coordination: Handle maintenance and transport arrangements, along with inventory reports, to determine the priority of materials required for ongoing projects and operations.


• Cross-Functional Communication: Provide transportation and logistics information to various internal workgroups, ensuring everyone stays informed and coordinated.


• Documentation and Reporting: Update FMR or log pages with current vehicle information and create and maintain Excel-based reports, status updates, and visual diagrams for management visibility.


• System Management: Maintain accurate purchasing records and data within purchasing software programs, ensuring all information is current and accessible.


• Purchasing Support: Assist Buyers with obtaining clarifications and tracking purchase order status to facilitate smooth procurement processes.


• Discrepancy Resolution: Work with internal departments and suppliers to address any discrepancies in shipping, invoicing, quality, part numbers, and quantities that may arise.


• Invoice Issue Resolution: Assist supervisors in resolving invoice issues promptly and accurately.


• Safety Compliance: Work with the Supplier Management team to identify and address any potentially hazardous situations, maintaining a safe working environment for all.

Essential Qualifications

• Education: A Bachelor's Degree is required for this position. Alternatively, candidates with an Associate's degree in a related field combined with relevant experience will also be considered.

• Technical Proficiency: Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, Word, and Outlook, is essential. Experience with data entry and report generation will be highly valued.
