Position Overview

In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for designing and cultivating critical workflow tooling at scale across our organization. You will empower teams to deliver outstanding software through top-tier planning experiences, efficient workflows, data-driven insights, and a culture of continuous improvement. Your central mission will be delivering meaningful data insights while engaging with partners across the organization to provide training and advocacy for workflow initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

As a Workflow Systems Analyst at arenaflex, you will play a crucial role in transforming our software development processes. Your responsibilities will include:

• Process Improvement Leadership: Drive workflow improvement initiatives focused on both quality and efficiency. You will identify opportunities for optimization and implement solutions that have measurable positive impacts on team productivity.


• Dashboard Development: Design and develop compelling visualizations of key metrics using Tableau. Create dashboards that effectively communicate performance indicators, highlight trends, and provide actionable insights to stakeholders at all levels.


• Data Analysis & Insight Generation: Translate complex data into meaningful insights. Identify patterns of behavior and trends within large datasets. Apply statistical analysis and data visualization techniques to uncover hidden opportunities for improvement.


• Workflow Documentation: Research and document the current state of software development workflows. Gain a comprehensive understanding of fundamental challenges and pinpoint specific processes that require enhancement or redesign.


• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work directly with data scientists and full-stack engineers to design and develop impactful insights through iterative, agile dashboards. Partner with teams to integrate insights into their decision-making monitoring and processes.


• Performance Monitoring: Continuously monitor the results of your initiatives and regularly report on successes and challenges to executive leadership. Demonstrate the value of workflow improvements through quantitative metrics.


• Stakeholder Engagement: Lead client relationships with confidence. Facilitate meetings, gather requirements, and execute analysis projects that address real business needs.

Essential Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you must possess the following qualifications:

• Educational Background: Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field. Equivalent professional experience will also be considered.
• Professional Experience: Minimum of 2+ years of professional experience in a role involving programming development as a data analyst, software engineer, or dedicated program manager.
• Cross-Functional Leadership: Demonstrated experience organizing and driving execution across diverse partner teams toward unified goals. You must be comfortable working with multiple stakeholders and aligning different perspectives.
• SDLC & Quality Assurance: Strong demonstrated understanding of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Quality Management principles.
• Metrics & Presentation: Ability to define key success metrics, present recommendations, and propose process improvements to all levels of leadership.
• Process Documentation: Strong skills in researching and documenting workflows and processes into visual workflow diagrams that are easily understood by technical and non-technical audiences.
• Data Analysis Proficiency: Hands-on experience working with data, including querying and analysis, quantitative information visualization, and creating executive-ready presentations using tools such as Tableau.

Preferred Qualifications

While not required, the following qualifications will help you stand out:

• Advanced expertise in data assessment, survey methodologies, and principles of quantitative research, including advanced Tableau development.


• Demonstrated history of influencing positive outcomes across a distributed organization using formal change management techniques.


• Experience with DevOps methodologies and LEAN software development principles.


• Understanding of build pipelines, continuous integration, testing frameworks and methodologies, and code deployment processes.


• Familiarity with Apple ecosystem products including iOS, macOS, watchOS, and tvOS platforms.

Compensation & Benefits
