Position Overview

As a Chat Moderator at arenaflex, you will be responsible for monitoring, maintaining, and improving the quality of interactions within our official Discord server. You will play a critical role in shaping the user experience and ensuring that our community remains inclusive, respectful, and aligned with our core values of equality and mutual respect.

Key Responsibilities

As an integral part of our community management team, you will be expected to perform the following duties with professionalism and enthusiasm:

• Content Monitoring & Review: Continuously monitor chat conversations, messages, and user interactions within the Discord server to identify any content that violates our established community guidelines and rules.


• Enforcement Actions: Take appropriate corrective action on content that violates our rules, which may include deleting inappropriate messages, issuing warnings, muting users temporarily, or permanently banning users who engage in repeated or severe violations.


• User Management: Effectively manage user access and permissions, including muting individuals who have violated rules and banning users who demonstrate persistent disregard for community standards.


• Report Investigation: Thoroughly investigate and respond to reports submitted by community members regarding potential rule violations, ensuring that all concerns are addressed promptly, fairly, and in accordance with our policies.


• Documentation & Reporting: Maintain detailed records of moderation actions, incidents, and user warnings to ensure consistency in enforcement and to support potential appeals or reviews.


• Community Engagement: Foster positive community interactions by being present, approachable, and helpful while maintaining professional boundaries at all times.


• Policy Adherence: Stay updated on our community guidelines and moderation policies, ensuring consistent application across all interactions.


• Collaboration: Work closely with other team members and leadership to address emerging issues, suggest improvements to moderation processes, and contribute to the overall enhancement of the community experience.

Essential Qualifications

To be considered for this position, candidates must meet the following minimum requirements:

• Age Requirement: Must be at least 18 years of age or older at the time of application.


• Educational Background: Must possess a High School Diploma or GED equivalent.


• Availability: Must be able to commit to a flexible schedule that may include evenings and weekends, as community activity varies throughout the week.


• Technical Proficiency: Must have reliable access to a computer and stable internet connection to perform remote work duties effectively.


• Communication Skills: Must demonstrate excellent written communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with diverse individuals in an online environment.

Preferred Qualifications

While not strictly required, the following qualifications and experiences will be considered a strong advantage:

Compensation & Benefits
