About the Opportunity

We are looking for a highly motivated full-time Operations Support Associate who is willing to think creatively and operationally to help our team change the way people access healthcare. As the Operations Support Associate, you will play a critical role in ensuring our Care Operations team is set up to support our patients. You will own completing our backend operational support processes, ensuring patient ECM and CHW program authorization and continued enrollment, all while creating a foundation of process efficiency and improvement.

What You'll Do
As an Operations Support Associate at arenaflex, you will be responsible for owning key operational support initiatives and ensuring the smooth functioning of our care coordination processes. Your daily responsibilities will include:
- Own key Ops Support initiatives: Take complete ownership of designated operational support projects, ensuring timely completion and quality outcomes that align with our mission of serving high-need patients.
- Monitor and report on operational processes: Proactively monitor and report on key operational support processes and metrics, identifying trends, potential issues, and opportunities for improvement.
- Support documentation analysts: Provide support to our team of documentation analysts by troubleshooting challenges and monitoring project progress when necessary, ensuring seamless collaboration across teams.
- Manage program authorizations: Complete and monitor ECM (Enhanced Care Management) and CHW (Community Health Worker) program authorizations and annual reauthorizations to ensure continuous enrollment and continuation of vital care services for patients.
- Address program denials: Work with partnered health plans to understand program denials and proactively flag any enrollment issues that may impact patient care continuity.
- Support transitions of care: Provide backend support for transitions of care and referrals to ensure closed-loop follow-up from the care team, preventing gaps in patient support.
- Communicate enrollment changes: Provide clear, timely communication to our care team when there are enrollment changes or status updates, ensuring everyone stays informed and can act accordingly.
- Optimize standard processes: Support Care Operations leaders in owning and optimizing key standard processes, contributing to overall operational excellence.
- Continuous improvement: Become efficient in your role and actively propose ways to improve existing processes, workflows, and systems to enhance patient care delivery.
What You'll Need

- Backend operations experience: One or more years of backend operations experience in a fast-paced healthcare environment providing administrative and operational support. Experience with Medicaid or Medicare programs is highly valued.
