Position Overview
We are currently seeking an experienced Senior Voice of Customer Data Architect to lead the transformation and innovation of our end-to-end Voice of Customer methodology. This is a critical role that sits at the intersection of data engineering, analytics, and customer experience. You will be responsible for designing and building robust data architectures that support sophisticated customer feedback processing, standardized metric definitions, and innovative analytical solutions.
The ideal candidate will have a passion for leveraging big data technologies to extract meaningful insights from customer feedback and a proven track record of delivering scalable data solutions in a fast-paced, agile environment. You will work closely with product owners, process specialists, and technology teams to transform how arenaflex captures, processes, and acts upon customer voice data.
Key Responsibilities
- Data Architecture Design: Design and build robust data model architectures to support optimal data processing and standardized metric definitions across the Voice of Customer platform.
- Platform Development: Assist in the development and maintenance of the new Voice of Customer technique sourced from Cornerstone and integrated with the Qualtrics survey and dashboard platform.
- Big Data Solutions: Enable big data and batch/real-time analytical solutions using transformational technologies including Hadoop, HDFS, MapReduce, Hive, Spark, and Python to deliver innovative solutions ensuring data quality and accuracy through intensive testing.
- Business Requirements: Work closely with application teams to define, frame, and capture business requirements, translating functional needs into technical deliverables.
- Data Transformation: Develop deep knowledge of Voice of Customer methods and leverage this expertise to transform data within the Cornerstone big data platform.
- Performance Optimization: Offer guidance to enhance capabilities and drive efficiency in computing programs using the big data ecosystem.
- Story Development: Power consumer story analysis and elaboration, design and development of software programs, and create testing and build automation tools.
- Process Automation: Proactively identify and automate manual tasks to improve quality and operational efficiency.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with partners from various business units to prioritize, define, develop, and test data for various use cases as part of the VoC end-to-end methodology.
Essential Qualifications
- Technical Expertise: Hands-on development experience with Hive/Hadoop, PySpark, Python, and Shell scripting languages with a minimum of 3+ years of experience in data-driven projects.
- Agile Methodology: Familiarity with Agile delivery methodologies, including experience with small increments of product introduction at regular intervals to business stakeholders.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively with relationship managers and product owners to understand functional requirements and convert them into technical deliverables.
- Big Data Technologies: In-depth understanding of big data ecosystems, including experience with distributed computing frameworks and data processing pipelines.
- Data Quality: Strong knowledge of data quality principles and testing methodologies to ensure accuracy at variable and use case levels.
- Problem-Solving: Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex data issues efficiently.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Qualtrics survey platform or similar customer feedback systems
- Knowledge of Voice of Customer (VoC) methodologies and customer experience analytics
- Experience with real-time streaming data processing frameworks
- Background in the financial services or fintech industry
- Experience working with multilingual and multicultural data sets
- Understanding of data governance and compliance requirements
- Experience with cloud-based big data platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
