Position Overview

As a Supply Chain Network Operations Manager at arenaflex, you will be responsible for overseeing our store network processes and ensuring smooth stock flow through our distribution organization and fulfillment centers. You'll be the bridge between multiple stakeholders, coordinating goals and answering escalated daily issues while analyzing data from various partners to streamline and improve network efficiencies.

This role requires a strategic thinker who can dive deep into data, identify root causes of complex supply chain challenges, and develop actionable solutions that drive measurable improvements in our operations.

Key Responsibilities

Network Process Management

• Oversee store network processes and guarantee stock course through the delivery organization and fulfillment centers by coordinating goals


• Answer escalation of daily issues and analyze data from various partners to streamline and improve network efficiencies


• Provide data to the provider compliance process stream


• Investigate and analyze root causes of daily and escalated exceptions regarding transporting, receiving, stock, and return-related issues


• Conduct execution audits of promoting department, distribution centers, and providers


• Provide recommendations for corrective action to key stakeholders

Supply Chain Performance Optimization

• Streamline supply chain performance by determining and supporting a flow way channel from provider to store to best fit sales, in-stock, and profit metrics


• Collaborate with partners in accordance with supply chain management to ensure sales, in-stock, stock, productivity, and strategy objectives are accomplished


• Track the movement and appearance of merchandise across the store network


• Develop and present recommendations to address conflicting objectives


• Identify demand exceptions, disturbances, and supply chain constraints that will impact supply chain performance


• Create and organize resolution strategies

Field Leadership and Direction

• Impact field-level heading and provide direction for the execution of operations by acting as a contact for the field


• Convey functional expectations to providers and carriers


• Address performance-related issues with stakeholders


• Tend to flow management questions and concerns


• Identify best practices and educate teams on adaptation and execution regarding these best practices


• Collaborate with business partners to identify and develop resources to improve efficiencies


• Respond to driver requests

Process Improvement and Innovation

• Manage supply chain flow process improvement efforts by contributing to the design, development, and delivery of better ways of working between supply chain partners


• Present better ways of working efforts and continuous improvement proposals to leadership


• Focus on item flow plan objectives and ensure flow plans are reachable


• Support innovation to improve current arrangements and techniques


• Handle the amendment of errors cycles and input circles


• Identify areas of opportunity to improve service levels


• Support the use of end-to-end costing approach and lean concepts


• Provide cost recommendations to reduce process waste and provide opportunities for cost decreases and process efficiencies


• Review and analyze the impact and benefits to internal processes

Stakeholder Management and Leadership

• Negotiate, complete, and supervise work-related activities and projects by developing and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders


• Support plans and drives to meet client and business needs


• Identify and communicate goals and objectives


• Build accountability and measure progress in achieving results


• Identify and address progress opportunities


• Demonstrate adaptability and promote continuous learning


• Provide mentorship and development opportunities for partners by hiring and training


• Coach team members, assign responsibilities, provide recognition, and ensure diversity awareness

Compliance and Ethics

• Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures and support company mission, values, and standards of ethics and integrity


• Implement related action plans


• Utilize and support the arenaflex Policy


• Provide guidance and direction on applying these in executing business cycles and practices

Essential Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field


• Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in supply chain operations, logistics, or network management


• Proven experience in data mining and data analysis


• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets


• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills


• Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams and drive results


• Strong problem-solving and root cause analysis capabilities


• Knowledge of supply chain best practices and lean principles


• Ability to work independently in a remote environment while maintaining productivity

Preferred Skills and Experience

• Working knowledge of SQL for data querying and analysis


• Experience with BigQuery for large-scale data processing


• Proficiency in PowerBI for data visualization and reporting


• Experience with Alteryx for data blending and analytics automation


• Strong skills in Tableau or Tableau Prep for data preparation and visualization


• Previous experience in retail or e-commerce supply chain operations


• Six Sigma or other process improvement certification


• Experience working with distributed teams across multiple regions
