What You'll Do: Key Responsibilities

Customer Experience Excellence


  • Greet and engage customers and patients with warmth and professionalism, making them feel welcome from the moment they enter our store

  • Offer knowledgeable assistance with products and services, taking the time to understand each customer's unique needs

  • Resolve customer issues promptly and effectively, ensuring every concern is addressed to the customer's satisfaction

  • Answer questions thoroughly and provide expert recommendations to help customers find exactly what they need

  • Model and share exceptional customer service best practices with team members, contributing to a culture of excellence

  • Demonstrate outstanding interpersonal habits including genuine greetings, appropriate eye contact, courteous behavior, and attentive listening

  • Embody arenaflex service traits by offering help proactively, identifying customer needs, and servicing customers until they are completely satisfied

Sales & Register Operations


  • Process customer purchases accurately on assigned cash registers, ensuring all transactions are completed efficiently

  • Collect payment and distribute change precisely as requested by customers

  • Handle voids, returns, rain checks, refunds, and exchanges professionally and in accordance with company policies

  • Recommend items for sale to customers, suggesting complementary products and trade-up opportunities to enhance their shopping experience

  • Upsell and cross-sell products strategically to increase customer satisfaction and store revenue

  • Maintain accurate registration records and ensure all sales are properly documented

Store Operations & Merchandising


  • Keep store counters and shelves clean, well-organized, and properly merchandised at all times

  • Conduct regular inventory counts and maintain accurate inventory records

  • Receive, check in, and price merchandise as required or as directed by store management

  • Implement company asset protection procedures to identify and minimize profit loss

  • Ensure full compliance with state and local laws regarding regulated products, including alcoholic beverages and tobacco products

  • Construct and maintain attractive displays, including promotional, seasonal, and sale merchandise

  • Complete store resets and revisions as directed by management

  • Assist with proper food separation and product placement according to company policies (e.g., raw and frozen meats stored on bottom shelves)

  • Execute stock rotation using the first in, first out (FIFO) method to minimize waste and ensure product freshness

  • Restock items promptly and efficiently to prevent inventory shortages

Photo Center & Digital Services


  • Provide exceptional customer service in the photo area, assisting with various photographic needs

  • Process digital passport photo services with accuracy and attention to detail

  • Operate poster printing equipment and creative machines professionally

  • Suggestively sell promotional photo products to enhance customer satisfaction and drive additional sales

  • Assume web pick-up responsibilities, including monitoring orders in our digital system, filling customer orders (pick items), and delivering orders to customers as they arrive at the store

Store Maintenance & Team Collaboration


  • Assist with exterior and interior maintenance to ensure our store maintains a clean, neat, orderly, and welcoming appearance

  • Comply with all company policies and procedures consistently

  • Maintain respectful, positive relationships with coworkers and support a collaborative team environment

  • Complete special assignments and additional tasks as directed by management

  • Participate in store meetings and contribute ideas for improving customer service and operational efficiency

What We're Looking For: Qualifications

Basic Qualifications


  • Language Skills: Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English (Except in Puerto Rico)

  • Availability: Requires willingness to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekend hours

  • Legal Eligibility: Must be legally authorized to work in the United States

  • Background Check: Willingness to undergo background verification as required by law

Preferred Qualifications


  • Six months or more of experience in a retail or customer service environment

  • Prior work experience in a pharmacy, grocery, or general merchandise retail setting

  • Previous experience with point-of-sale (POS) systems and cash handling

  • Strong knowledge of customer service principles and practices

  • Familiarity with merchandising and inventory management procedures

  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

  • Basic computer literacy and comfort with technology
