We are currently seeking a dedicated and motivated Customer Service Representative to join our growing team. In this role, you will be responsible for meeting the specific and unique needs of our customers while ensuring the highest level of customer service and maximizing productivity with minimum downtime. Additionally, you will assist our sales representatives in servicing customers, contributing to the overall success of our operations.

What You'll Do

As a Customer Service Representative at arenaflex, you will play a pivotal role in maintaining and strengthening our relationships with customers. Your primary responsibilities will include:


  • Customer Inquiry Management: Provides timely and accurate information to incoming customer requests regarding order status and product knowledge. You will serve as the first point of contact for customers seeking information, ensuring their questions are answered promptly and professionally.
  • Multi-Channel Customer Interaction: Handle all client interactions with excellence, including inbound and outbound telephone calls, requests received electronically via email or online portals, and face-to-face interaction with walk-in clients. You will represent arenaflex with professionalism and warmth in every interaction.
  • Order Processing: Process customer orders and order changes according to established department policies and procedures. You will ensure accuracy in all order entry activities, verifying details and maintaining proper documentation.
  • Sales Support: Process orders phoned in by arenaflex Sales Representatives and act as the primary point of contact regarding open orders. You will collaborate closely with the sales team to ensure seamless order fulfillment and customer satisfaction.
  • Account Maintenance: Maintain various accounts and review open orders to ensure accuracy and completeness. You will proactively identify and address any discrepancies or issues that may arise.
  • Technical Documentation: Pull Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDS) and copy documents as required for customers, ensuring they have the necessary information for safe product handling and regulatory compliance.
  • Problem Resolution: Research customer problems thoroughly and follow through to resolution. You will investigate issues, collaborate with relevant departments, and ensure customers receive timely and satisfactory solutions.
  • Administrative Support: Provide administrative support for management, including but not limited to report generation, data processing, filing, and other duties as assigned. You will help ensure the smooth operation of the department.
  • Additional Responsibilities: Execute other projects and tasks as assigned by your supervisor, contributing to team goals and organizational success.

Essential Qualifications:


  • High school diploma or equivalent; some college education preferred

  • One to two years of Customer Service experience in a warehouse or distribution environment is helpful but not required

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interact professionally with customers and colleagues

  • Keen attention to detail and accuracy in handling data, orders, and documentation

  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to research issues and implement effective solutions

  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment

  • Genuine customer-focused attitude with a passion for delivering exceptional service

Physical Requirements:

While performing the duties of this job, the employee will regularly sit at a desk for extended periods, operate a computer and office equipment, and listen/speak clearly on the telephone and in-person. The role requires the ability to maintain focus and productivity in a stationary position while managing multiple tasks and priorities.

Compensation

The pay range for this role is $18-$22 per hour. This range represents what arenaflex reasonably expects to pay an associate for this role based on current market data, internal equity, and other business factors. The actual compensation offered may vary depending on factors such as relevant experience, qualifications, geographic location, and other considerations.
