Role Overview

As a Data Scientist at arenaflex, you will be at the forefront of transforming raw data into actionable business insights. Key Responsibilities

• Advanced Analytics & Modeling: Apply statistical analysis and machine learning techniques to develop custom analytical models that generate insights driving value for our customers and competitive advantage for our organization.


• Data Pipeline Collaboration: Work closely with our data engineering team to construct robust data pipelines from diverse sources, ensuring data quality and accessibility for advanced statistical analysis.


• Exploratory Data Analysis: Conduct comprehensive exploratory investigations including hypothesis testing, statistical inference, and predictive/prescriptive analytics to uncover hidden patterns and opportunities.


• Business Problem Translation: Partner with business and technical stakeholders to translate complex retail business challenges into sophisticated data science solutions that deliver measurable results.


• Model Monitoring & Optimization: Develop processes and tools that continuously monitor, analyze, and improve model performance while ensuring data accuracy and reliability.


• Insight Communication: Translate technical findings into clear, actionable recommendations for non-technical stakeholders, enabling data-driven decision-making across the organization.

Essential Qualifications

• Educational Background: Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or a related quantitative field. Advanced degrees are a plus but not required.


• Technical Expertise: Proven experience with statistical methods and advanced modeling techniques including SVM, Random Forest, Bayesian inference, graph models, NLP, computer vision, and neural networks.


• Programming Proficiency: Strong skills in languages used to manipulate data and derive insights from large datasets, including Python, R, and SQL.


• Database Knowledge: Experience with database technologies and distributed datastores such as SQL, NoSQL, and cloud-based data platforms.


• Machine Learning Frameworks: Familiarity with frameworks like Spark, Hive, TensorFlow, or similar tools for building and deploying machine learning models.
