About the Voice of Customer Program
Our Voice of Customer program is the heartbeat of our customer experience strategy. Each year, we receive over 5 million surveys from customers across our consumer, business, and service provider segments. This massive volume of feedback spans more than 40 studies, translated into over 10 languages and deployed in over 20 countries. Our team is responsible for the end-to-end VoC methodology—from survey design and programming to data collection, analysis, and dashboard creation.
We're currently undergoing an exciting transformation, migrating our VoC infrastructure to a modern, scalable platform powered by Qualtrics, our survey technology partner. What You'll Do
As a Senior Data Architect at arenaflex, you'll play a pivotal role in designing and building the data architecture that supports our VoC program. Your work will directly influence how we measure customer satisfaction, identify improvement opportunities, and deliver experiences that keep our customers coming back.
Key Responsibilities
- Architect Data Solutions: Design and build robust data models and architecture to support efficient data processing and standardized metric definitions across all VoC initiatives.
- Platform Development: Lead the development and maintenance of our new Voice of the Customer technique, sourced from Cornerstone and integrated with the Qualtrics survey and dashboard platform.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with product owners, process owners, and subject matter experts from Qualtrics and our Agile technology teams to define and deliver technical solutions that meet business needs.
- Big Data Implementation: Enable big data and batch/real-time analytical solutions using transformational technologies including Hadoop, HDFS, MapReduce, Hive, Spark, and Python.
- Data Quality Assurance: Ensure data quality and accuracy through intensive testing at variable and use-case levels, delivering innovative solutions that our business partners can trust.
- Performance Optimization: Provide guidance to enhance capabilities and drive efficiency in computing programs using our massive data ecosystem.
- Storytelling Through Data: Power customer story analysis and elaboration, design and development of software programs, and build automation tools that simplify complex processes.
- Automation & Efficiency: Proactively identify and automate manual tasks to improve quality and operational efficiency across the VoC pipeline.
- Stakeholder Partnership: Collaborate with partners from Global Services Network and AET to prioritize, define, develop, and test data for various use cases as part of the VoC end-to-end technique.
- Requirements Translation: Work closely with application teams to define, frame, and capture business needs, translating them into technical deliverables that drive measurable outcomes.

Essential Qualifications
- Technical Expertise: Hands-on development experience with Hive/Hadoop, PySpark, Python, and Shell Scripting languages.
- Experience Level: A minimum of 3+ years of experience in data-driven projects, with demonstrated ability to handle large-scale data processing challenges.
- Stakeholder Management: Active collaboration with relationship managers and product owners to understand functional requirements and convert them into technical deliverables.
- Problem-Solving Skills: Strong troubleshooting abilities and a passion for optimizing data pipelines and processing workflows.
Agile Mindset: Familiarity with Agile methodologies of delivery, with the ability to introduce small increments of product improvements at regular intervals to business groups.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Qualtrics or similar survey platforms.
- Knowledge of Voice of Customer methodologies and customer experience analytics.
- Familiarity with cloud-based data platforms and real-time streaming technologies.
- Experience in the financial services or consumer goods industry.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to present complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
