Position Overview: Director of Talent Data Analytics
We are currently seeking a strategic and visionary Director of Talent Data Analytics to lead our Talent Data Operations & Insights team. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for cultivating an insights-driven Talent organization that enables strategic skills decisions and drives superior talent and business outcomes through data-enabled decision making.
You will serve as the primary champion for transforming our talent analytics capabilities, working closely with Talent Partners and Delivery leaders to provide relevant insights that proactively highlight wins, opportunities, and risks with informed recommendations. Your expertise will help enable the Talent team to become strategic advisors with the capacity to directly influence business results.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the Talent Data Operations & Insights crew, specializing in strategic partnership and customer-driven products that deliver measurable business impact
- Develop a comprehensive transport roadmap that supports the development, execution, and advancement of the overall Talent strategy to meet evolving business needs
- Provide actionable insights to Talent Partners and Delivery leaders, proactively highlighting successes, opportunities, and risks with data-driven recommendations
- Design and develop information models that are easily digestible and empower the team to make informed decisions quickly
- Identify priorities and roadmap unique to the business, incorporating multiple internal and external data sources to create a holistic view of talent dynamics
- Enable the Talent team to become strategic advisors with the capability to directly influence business results through evidence-based insights
- Deliver Consultancy, Analysis & Insights, and Self-Serve Tools that democratize data access across the organization
- Influence senior leaders on leveraging available insights and drive governance efforts, including business process improvements and accountability management
- Partner with cross-functional stakeholders to ensure talent analytics aligns with broader organizational objectives and strategic initiatives
- Build and mentor a high-performing analytics team committed to excellence in data quality, methodology, and strategic impact
Essential Qualifications
- Educational Background: Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Statistics, Economics, Analytics, Mathematics, Arts, Finance, or a related field
- Professional Experience: Minimum 3 years of progressive experience in data analysis, data science, statistics, or a related analytical discipline
- Industry Expertise: Strong domain knowledge in talent management, human resources, or people analytics with understanding of internal data ecosystems
- Strategic Experience: Demonstrated experience in developing and executing talent strategy, analysis, and insights plans that drive business outcomes
- Analytical Mastery: Proven track record in delivering complex analysis and insights supporting strategic initiatives across the organization
- Technical Proficiency: Ability to develop scalable and repeatable suite of tools that meet evolving business needs
- Communication Skills: Exceptional relationship-building and communication abilities with business partners and stakeholders at all levels
- Governance Capabilities: Experience in driving governance efforts, including business process improvements and accountability management
