What You'll Do at arenaflex
As a Data Scientist specializing in Talent Acquisition Analytics, you'll be embedded in our HR transformation team, working closely with recruiters, hiring managers, HR business partners, and technology teams. Your work will directly influence how arenaflex finds and hires the world's best talent. Here's what you can expect:
- Collaborate with cross-functional partners: Work alongside talent acquisition specialists, software engineers, product managers, and business leaders to understand hiring challenges, define business processes, and provide analytical support that drives strategic decisions.
- Analyze complex datasets: Leverage your expertise in SQL, Python, R, or other programming languages to extract, clean, and analyze large datasets from multiple HR systems. Design and develop data transformations that solve specific business problems.
- Build automated data pipelines: Create flexible, efficient, and scalable data processes that enable real-time reporting and dashboards. Ensure data quality, consistency, and accessibility across the talent acquisition ecosystem.
- Develop predictive models: Apply machine learning and statistical modeling techniques to predict candidate success, improve sourcing strategies, reduce time-to-hire, and enhance candidate experience.
- Automate TA processes: Identify opportunities to streamline and automate repetitive talent acquisition tasks, reducing manual effort and improving operational efficiency.
- Communicate insights effectively: Present findings, recommendations, and insights to business clients and executive leadership in clear, compelling formats. Translate complex technical concepts into business language.
- Drive continuous improvement: Stay current with the latest trends in HR analytics, data warehousing, and talent acquisition technology. Proactively identify opportunities to enhance our analytical capabilities.
- Lead multiple projects: Manage and prioritize multiple concurrent projects, balancing urgent business needs with long-term strategic initiatives.
What We're Looking For
Essential Qualifications
To succeed in this role at arenaflex, you'll need:
- A bachelor's degree in a quantitative field such as statistics, mathematics, data science, business analysis, economics, finance, engineering, computer science, or a related discipline.
- At least 3+ years of experience with data querying languages (such as SQL), scripting languages (such as Python), or statistical/numerical programming (such as R, SAS, or MATLAB).
- At least 3+ years of experience with machine learning and statistical modeling, including experience with data analysis tools and techniques, model development, and understanding parameters that affect model performance.
- Proven experience applying theoretical models in real-world, applied business environments.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to present complex findings to non-technical audiences.
- The ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Preferred Qualifications

- A master's degree or higher in a quantitative field (statistics, mathematics, data science, business analysis, economics, finance, engineering, or computer science).

- Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or Looker.
