We're seeking a highly skilled and experienced EHS professional to join our team as an EHS Lead. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing EHS programs, policies, and procedures, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, and promoting a culture of safety and responsibility throughout our organization. You will work closely with our site leadership team, contractors, and vendors to ensure a safe and healthy work environment.
- *Key Responsibilities**
- Develop, implement, and maintain EHS policies, procedures, and programs to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and arenaflex's EHS standards.
- Conduct regular site audits and inspections to identify potential EHS hazards and develop corrective actions to mitigate risks.
- Collaborate with site leadership, contractors, and vendors to ensure a safe and healthy work environment, including providing training and guidance on EHS procedures and protocols.
- Develop and implement incident investigation and reporting procedures to identify root causes of incidents and develop corrective actions to prevent future occurrences.
- Develop and maintain relationships with regulatory agencies, industry associations, and other stakeholders to stay informed about EHS regulations and best practices.
- Provide EHS training and guidance to employees, contractors, and vendors to ensure compliance with EHS procedures and protocols.
- Develop and implement EHS metrics and reporting to track progress and identify areas for improvement.
- Collaborate with other departments to integrate EHS considerations into business decisions and operations.
- *Essential Qualifications**
- Bachelor's degree in Environmental Health and Safety, Occupational Health and Safety, or a related field.
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in EHS, with a focus on construction, contractor management, and data center operations and maintenance.
- Strong knowledge of EHS regulations, including OSHA, EPA, and other relevant federal, state, and local regulations.
- Experience with EHS management software and data analytics tools.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with employees, contractors, and vendors.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong focus on collaboration and problem-solving.
- *Preferred Qualifications**
- Master's degree in Environmental Health and Safety, Occupational Health and Safety, or a related field.
- Certified Safety Professional (CSP) or Certified Industrial Hygienist (CIH) certification.
- Experience with EHS auditing and compliance management.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret data and develop recommendations for improvement.
- Experience with EHS training and development, including training program design and delivery.
