Position Overview: Make an Impact from Home
As an Inbound Customer Service Representative at arenaflex, you will play a crucial role in our mission to deliver outstanding service to child support stakeholders. You will be the first point of contact for clients seeking assistance, and your professionalism, empathy, and efficiency will directly impact the families we serve.
This is a full-time, work-from-home position that offers the flexibility to work in a supportive virtual environment while maintaining the structure and stability of a dedicated career. Key Responsibilities
As a valued member of the arenaflex team, you will be responsible for the following duties:
- Handle inbound calls from child support client stakeholders in a professional, courteous, and efficient manner, adhering to established Standard Operating Procedures and contractual obligations
- Categorize all incoming calls accurately using the designated categorization system to ensure proper routing and follow-up
- Document and report any abusive, threatening, or extraordinary calls in accordance with company protocols and legal requirements
- Maintain a general understanding of arenaflex policies, procedures, and service offerings to provide accurate information to callers
- Demonstrate strong oral and written communication skills to effectively address caller inquiries, concerns, and requests
- Utilize call center technology and software platforms to manage customer interactions, update records, and track case information
- Perform data entry tasks with accuracy and speed, including keyboard navigation, mouse operation, and 10-key pad usage
- Exhibit excellent interpersonal skills by demonstrating tact, patience, and courtesy in every interaction
- Meet or exceed performance metrics related to call handling time, customer satisfaction, and accuracy
- Participate in ongoing training sessions to enhance knowledge of policies, procedures, and best practices
- Collaborate with team members and supervisors to resolve complex issues and improve overall service delivery
- Handle other duties as assigned to support the team and ensure operational excellence
Essential Qualifications
To thrive in this role at arenaflex, candidates must meet the following requirements:
- High School Diploma or equivalent is required
- Minimum of one year prior experience in service delivery, customer service, call center operations, or a related field
- Equivalent combination of education and experience that provides the necessary knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform the position duties will be considered
- Proficiency in data entry skills, including keyboard, mouse, and 10-key pad navigation
- Typing speed of at least 35 words per minute (a typing test will be administered during the interview process)
- Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and Outlook
- Strong oral and written communication skills with the ability to articulate clearly and professionally
- Excellent interpersonal skills demonstrating tact, patience, and courtesy in all interactions
- General understanding of modern office practices, procedures, and equipment
- Ability to work a full-time schedule with flexibility to work day shifts between 6:00 AM CST and 10:00 PM CST, including at least one weekend day
Preferred Qualifications
While not required, the following qualifications will give you a competitive edge:
- Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish – this is highly preferred as we serve a diverse population
- Previous experience in child support services or government-related call centers
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as Business, Communications, or Human Services
- Advanced Microsoft Office skills, including intermediate to advanced Excel proficiency
- Experience with CRM software and call tracking systems
