Dodla Digital is seeking a Lead Statistician II to support a large-scale federal health research effort. This role will provide technical leadership in survey methodology, statistical modeling, and advanced data analysis. The selected candidate will play a critical role in designing statistically valid sampling strategies, addressing non-response bias, and leading complex analytical work using large health datasets.

    This position requires deep expertise in survey sampling design, weighting procedures, non-response adjustment, and advanced statistical programming using SAS.
  • *Qualifications
  • Experience working with large national survey datasets or cohort studies
  • Familiarity with survey operations including web surveys, CATI, and multi-mode data collection
  • Experience producing statistical reports for policy, research, or public health audiences
  • Publication record in peer-reviewed journals or major technical reports

  • Lead statistical methodology for large-scale survey research and epidemiological studies
  • Design and implement sampling strategies and survey weighting methodologies
  • Develop statistical plans for handling non-response bias and adjustment procedures
  • Create and maintain statistical programming code using SAS for survey data processing and analysis
  • Design and implement algorithms for sampling weights, correction factors, and data validation
  • Support development of survey protocols, methodology documentation, and technical reports
  • Perform advanced statistical analyses on large-scale health datasets
  • Collaborate with epidemiologists, project managers, and research staff to interpret findings
  • Support development of methodology reports, white papers, and technical deliverables
  • Ensure analytical methods meet federal research standards and statistical best practices
  • *Requirements**
  • PhD in Statistics, Survey Methodology, Biostatistics, Epidemiology, or related quantitative discipline
  • Minimum 8 years of post-doctoral experience conducting statistical analysis or survey methodology work
  • Advanced programming experience using SAS for statistical modeling and data processing
  • Experience analyzing large-scale survey datasets or population health data
  • Proven ability to develop and implement statistical methodologies for complex research studies
  • Strong technical writing skills for methodology reports and research documentation

Salary Range (Washington, DC) - $140,000 – $190,000
