What You'll Do
As a Customer Advocate Phone Specialist at arenaflex, you will serve as the frontline representative for our members, providing exceptional inbound phone support and resolving inquiries with empathy, accuracy, and efficiency. Your role is critical in ensuring member satisfaction and maintaining arenaflex's reputation for excellence in customer care.
Key Responsibilities
- Member Support: Respond to inbound telephone calls and written correspondence from healthcare members, addressing their questions and concerns with professionalism and care.
- Inquiry Resolution: Identify, research, process, resolve, and respond to customer inquiries related to contract benefits, changes in coverage, eligibility, claims, and arenaflex programs.
- Provider Network Assistance: Clarify details about provider networks and guide members through understanding their coverage options.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate records of all customer interactions, updating arenaflex systems and databases with pertinent information.
- Quality Assurance: Meet or exceed quality, quantity, and timeliness standards set by the department, achieving individual and team performance goals.
- Collaboration: Coordinate with internal departments, external plans, providers, businesses, and government agencies to ensure comprehensive resolution of member inquiries.
- System Navigation: Efficiently navigate, gather, input, and maintain data across multiple system applications.
- Policy Interpretation: Interpret and translate policies, procedures, programs, and guidelines into clear, understandable language for members.
- Correspondence: Compose and dictate a variety of business correspondence to respond to member inquiries in writing.
- Confidentiality: Maintain strict confidentiality and privacy standards in compliance with healthcare regulations.
What We're Looking For

Essential Qualifications
- Experience: At least one (1) year of experience in claims examination, health insurance, customer service, call center, medical office, or other healthcare-related field.
- Education: High School diploma or GED.
- Technical Skills: Intermediate proficiency in PC operations and multiple software applications.
- Residency: Must be a resident of Arizona, with work performed entirely within the State of Arizona.

Compensation and Benefits

Compensation
- Hourly Pay Rate: Starting at $20.00 per hour.
- Performance Bonus: Opportunity to earn up to 12% annual bonus based on corporate goals and individual performance.
- 401(k) Retirement Plan: Up to 5% dollar-per-dollar match plus a 2% non-elective employer contribution.
