Position Overview


As an Account Manager at arenaflex, you will play a pivotal role in growing our third-party marketplace in the United States. This position is chartered with acquiring, developing, and managing high-value accounts that enhance our product selection, pricing, and convenience for customers. You will be responsible for identifying product selection gaps, executing go-to-market strategies, and attracting key marketplace players to join our platform.

This is a remote, entry-level position that offers tremendous growth potential for the right candidate. You'll be working with a team of industry professionals, gaining hands-on experience in e-commerce, and contributing directly to the expansion of our marketplace. Key Responsibilities


As an integral part of our marketplace development team, you will be responsible for the following:


  • Market Research & Analysis: Develop a thorough understanding of the marketplace segment, including seasonality, global developments, and activities. Monitor competitor efforts and identify emerging trends that present opportunities for growth.

  • Seller Acquisition: Identify, prospect, and recruit high-potential sellers to our platform through direct sales visits, events, presentations, and outreach campaigns. Your success will be measured by your ability to bring new and diverse sellers onto the platform.

  • Seller Enablement: Guide sellers through the onboarding process by sharing best practices of online selling, including data-driven insights that help sellers achieve high standards of delivery, customer experience, and business objectives.

  • Stakeholder Management: Collaborate with both internal and external stakeholders to identify and resolve vendor issues, ensuring a seamless experience for our sellers and customers alike.

  • Strategic Planning: Work closely with the leadership team to execute go-to-market strategies that attract key marketplace players and maximize our product selection and customer base.

  • Performance Optimization: Analyze sales data and market feedback to identify opportunities for improvement and implement strategies to drive revenue growth.

  • Relationship Building: Build and maintain strong relationships with sellers, acting as their primary point of contact and advocate within arenaflex.

Essential Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you must meet the following requirements:


  • Educational Background: A Bachelor's degree is required. Degrees in Business Administration, Marketing, Economics, or related fields are preferred.

  • Experience: 1-3 years of successful business-to-business sales experience, preferably in e-commerce, technology, retail, or FMCG industries.

  • Track Record: Demonstrated success in exceeding income targets using consultative and solutions-focused sales processes.

  • Communication Skills: Advanced verbal and written communication skills with the ability to present ideas clearly and persuasively.

  • Technical Proficiency: Strong working knowledge of Excel and MS Office programs. Comfort with analyzing complex data and deriving actionable insights.

  • Analytical Abilities: Advanced analytical and quantitative skills, with the ability to interpret market data and make data-driven decisions.
