Position Overview

We are currently seeking a highly skilled and motivated Remote Data Scientist – Quantitative Analysis & Marketing Analytics Specialist to join our growing analytics team. This is a full-time position offering competitive compensation at $27 per hour, with the flexibility of remote work arrangements. The ideal candidate will be based in or willing to work during Eastern Time hours, with the ability to collaborate effectively with teams across multiple regions.

As a Quantitative Analyst and Data Scientist at arenaflex, you will play a pivotal role in analyzing vast data sets and building sophisticated systems that enhance our understanding of consumer behavior, market dynamics, and product performance. Key Responsibilities

You will design and implement sophisticated attribution models that accurately measure the effectiveness of various marketing channels and campaigns.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams including product managers, marketing strategists, data engineers, and software developers on advanced analysis projects involving experimentation, measurement, and predictive modeling. You will serve as the primary analytics resource for cross-functional initiatives.
  • Data-Driven Audience Strategy: Deliver data-driven approaches based on team-based marketing strategies to build, segment, and test audiences. You will develop audience personas and predictive models that enable highly targeted and effective marketing campaigns.
  • Digital Marketing Data Pipelines: Collaborate with internal teams to measure, build, and deliver strategic initiatives driving all marketing data, with emphasis on digital marketing data pipelines. You will ensure data quality, consistency, and accessibility across the organization.

  • Strategic Initiative Evaluation: Assume a key technical role in driving all media, marketing, and analysis initiatives, collaborating with internal teams to evaluate strategic programs. Using both first-party and third-party data sources, you will create innovative solutions that demonstrate the effectiveness of arenaflex's media investments.

Essential Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you must possess:


  • Educational Background: A Bachelor's degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, Computer Science, or a related quantitative field. Equivalent functional experience will also be considered for candidates with exceptional practical skills.
  • Professional Experience: A minimum of three years of experience in measurement and business analysis, demonstrating the ability to translate complex data into actionable business insights.
  • Technical Proficiency: Strong experience with SQL and at least one statistical programming language such as R or Python. You should be comfortable working with large data sets and have experience with data wrangling, cleaning, and transformation.
